Radiance of the Seas is a bright and airy ship, she offers all the modern luxuries you would expect to find on a cruise ship but does not make you feel as though you are limited with space, in fact just the opposite.
Launced in 2001 she is a relatively new ship and this is noticeable as soon as you step on board. She offers the typical facilities you would expect to find on a Royal Caribbean ship along with a few little extra's like the amazing ten storey glass centrum and glass lifts that face out towards the ocean.
Radiance of the Seas spends most of her time in Alaska, a place where the views are breathtaking and the scenery is unlike any other place on earth.

- Dining: The dining room offers two-sitting or My Time dining, there are two premium pay-extra dining venues and several casual eateries
- Cascades is the main, two level dining room, located across decks four and five. Deck five hosts evening My Time dining, where passengers can arrive to be seated for dinner at any time between 1730 and 2130. The traditional, two sitting arrangement for dinner is available on deck four, early sitting at 1800, and second sitting at 2030 each evening
- Giovanni's Table is a family friendly venue, based on an Italian theme, and offering some of the great flavours of Italy itself. Open for lunch (1200-1400, certain days only) at a charge of $15 per person, and dinner (1800-2130 nightly) at $20 per person
- Izumi is a Japanese accented venue, with a $3 cover for lunch, and $5 for dinner. Individual items such as sushi, sashimi and meats cooked at tableside come as a la carte priced items
- Rita's Cantina is a Mexican style venue, open for both lunch and dinner. A $3 cover charge applies per person, and menu items such as tacos, Chili Con Carne and Grilled Quesiladas are priced as a la carte choices. Open from 1400-2130 daily
- Samba Grill is a superb, Brazlian accented Churrascaria. Thirteen different sumptuous cuts of meat are on offer, plus all of the usual side dishes. Cover price is $30 per person. Open for dinner only from 1800-2130 nightly
- Chops Grille is a secluded, highly styled upper deck steakhouse and seafood venue, where exquisite cuts of steak, pork and beef, plus seafood staples such as lobster and shrimp with all the sides, are offered in a calm, unhurried environment. Cover charge is $30 per person, open for dinner only from 1800-2130 nightly
- Chef's Table serves up a fabulous, five course dinner with expertly paired wines, to a maximum of sixteen guests in a secluded environment. A chef and sommelier are on hand to describe each of the pairing choices just before they are brought out. $95 cover charge per person, fully inclusive
- Windjammer Cafe is the ship's casual, self service main venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Complimentary
- Cafe Latte-tudes offers casual snacking, with small cakes and cookies for free, and speciality coffees for an extra fee. Open daily from 0630-2300
- Park Cafe is a deli style of venue, offering quick, healthy breakfasts, salads and ciabatta at lunchtime, and late night snacks until the early morning hours. Complimentary venue, open from 0600-1000 for breakfast, 1100- 1830 for lunch and grazing, and 2100-0100 for late night snacks
- Boardwalk Doghouse serves up free hot dogs, wieners and bratwurst in a casual setting. Open 1130-1830 0n sea days, and 1300-1830 on port days. Also serves light, late night snacks from 2100-0100. Complimentary

- Top accommodation: The Royal Suite offers a lot of space, a baby grand piano and a lovely bathroom
- Entertainment and facilities: A good theatre and lots of casual cabaret feature on this ship which spends much of its time in Alaska where the views are a large part of the entertainment – as Radiance features huge glass windows and walls, the scenery is un-missable
- Tipping: A rather complex system operations on RCI ships: tips can be pre-paid in advance (this is mandatory if you choose ‘My Time’ dining) or added to your onboard account or paid in cash when the cruise ends. There’s a 15% surcharge on bar bills.
