  • Family amenities: Less developed than some other ships in the line, Grand Princess offers discos rather than hip hop for teens and lots of crafts for younger children
  • Top accomodation: The Grand Suite has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge a vast wardrobe and a nice big hot tub on the private balcony
  • Entertainment and facilities: The main theatre shows the age of ship, having many pillars than can obscure a good view of the stage. There are the usual good daytime classes and a great deck cinema
  • Tipping: There’s a charge of around £6 per day added to all accounts, even those of children, which you can adjust at the purser’s desk and a mandatory 15% on bar bills and your wine account in the dining rooms.
