Life on Board
Facilities
Features
- Dining: A main dining room, a casual eatery and pretty basic room service make up the options on this ship
- Family amenities: The Squok club is far too small to accommodate all the children on board, especially in holiday periods, so age-banded groups of children are supervised on activities throughout the ship – this delights European passengers and sometimes horrifies American ones who expect children to be kept in a separate environment
- Top accommodation: Six suites on the Monte Carlo deck have huge glass windows but not balconies, although they are bigger than suites that do have balconies
- Entertainment and facilities: This is an area where Romantica shows her age, the theatre is antiquated and much of the performance work is basic to say the least
- Tipping: There’s a service charge of around £5 per day, which is halved for children from four to 18, and a 15% bar bill surcharge.
