Costa Atlantica, as tall as a 20-storey building and just under 300 metres long, is a trendy Italian-inspired ship, devoted to the excitement, locations and emotions associated with cinema and the arts. The Atlantica's romantic ambience is reflected in the Carrara marble, Murano-glass accents, and the in-laid mosaic tile, as well as the atrium which spans the length of the ship. Each of her 12 passenger decks is named after a movie directed by the famous Italian filmmaker, Federico Fellini, including La Dolce Vita. The huge vessel offers a succession of surprises and attractions, starting with the immense, lively and breathtaking entrance hall.
The 2114-passenger ship has 14 categories of accommodation, with all 1,057 cabins containing twin beds that convert into a queen-sized bed, individually controlled air-conditioning, a TV set and telephone. Some of the most desirable suites and cabins are those with private balconies, on five aft-facing decks, for you to relax and take in your breathtaking surroundings. Dining options include the two-level Tiziano Restaurant, the Botticelli Buffet, the Caffe Florian, and the Pizzeria Napoli. The club restaurant is particularly stunning, located in the highest part of the ship, under the glass ceiling with a view up to the heavens and Caffe Florian is a faithful reproduction of the famous cafe in St Marks Square, Venice. Costa have a great variety of menus offering you high quality, sophisticated food at all times of the day. The cuisine onboard Atlantica is the embodiment of Italian art, pleasing to the all the senses and it's nice to eat al fresco, which you can, and choose from many tasty items at the buffet.
Entertainment and activities onboard Atlantica suit all tastes and are available day and night. The ship offers ample opportunity to get the blood pumping, with a 180-metre jogging track, tennis court, and fitness centre, as well as three swimming pools. If you prefer to focus on relaxing, then unwind in one of the four whirlpools, treat yourself to a soothing massage at the Terme Ischia Spa or try a new look at the beauty salon. Other relaxing alternatives include reading in the library, exploring the winter garden, and duty-free shopping at the Via della Spiga mall. By Night, it is all parties and piazzas. Guests can choose from a Piano Bar, jazz, classical, Latin or ballroom dancing in one of the numerous lounges and bars, including the Corallo Show Lounge, and Dante's Discotheque.
