Originally entering service in 1995, Celebrity Century underwent a complete refurbishment in 2006 to bring her more in line with her newer sister ship, Celebrity Mercury. This meant new accommodation onboard Century, which included 314 new private verandas, fourteen new Sky Suites and 174 new-and utterly entrancing Concierge Class staterooms, complete with fresh-cut flowers, a luxurious pillow menu, and upgraded bathroom amenities. Celebrity signature elements were also added, such as a new specialty restaurant, an enhanced AquaSpa, a Martini Bar, made of frozen ice, and a series of other features and amenities synonymous with Celebrity.
The cruise line has earned countless awards for its outstanding food and wine selections. The new "Murano" specialty restaurant, in the centre of the Century ship, sparkles with magnificent chandeliers handcrafted of Murano glass and has a menu designed by long-time Celebrity Chef Michel Roux. Options for relaxation and fitness onboard aren’t in short supply with the ship’s fitness centre and spa. The AquaSpa is an oasis for the body and mind, with hydro-based treatments, full-body massages, and personal fitness training just a few of the therapies available.
If it is entertainment you are after, Celebrity Century have five-star options every evening, including Broadway-style productions, captivating shows, a lively disco, the glamorous and exciting Monte Carlo-style casino, as well as the ship's trendsetting bars and lounges.
